This week our little man Harry (a Westie) came up to Day Care with a funky blue fringe. His owner is a teacher and Harry had been trying to help her mark some work and ended up bumping into the blue high lighter. It got me thinking about the lengths some people go to make their pet a fashion accessory. I have previously seen dogs with a blue or pink hint to their coats...but this poodle has taken things to the next level! As these pictures from Wuhan in central China's Hubei province show, pet owners are taking their beloved dogs to grooming parlours where the poor creatures are not just given a shampoo and cut - but a full-on, multi-coloured fur job.
It is not something I would personally do to Kendal, my Westie, but I can't help but smile at these pictures :o)
